LAUNCHING JUNE 28: WATCH ALL SIX VIDEOS IN THE VIRTUAL FORUM TODAY!

Learn more about our project, participating candidates, and presenting partners below.

We're centering some of the most pressing issues impacting children, youth, and families in Seattle, providing a platform to learn about the candidates' positions on each, and offering an opportunity for issue experts in Seattle to ask their own questions directly to candidates. Our goal is to center children, youth, and families in the race for Seattle's next Mayor -- and educate voters without either CCF or SCAN making official endorsements in this election.

PARTICIPATING CANDIDATES

Candidates who filed to run with the Seattle Ethics and Election Commission and demonstrated fundraising activity of at least 100 contributions by a specified date, including Democracy Vouchers, were invited to participate. Candidate submissions for each topic/video are presented alphabetically by last name. Participating candidates include:

FORUM SPONSORS & PRODUCERS

Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) was created in 2014 as the political advocacy arm of Save the Children, to be the political voice for kids. We work to ensure that the issues critical to children’s lives and futures are given top priority by our elected leaders, building bipartisan support to make sure every child has a strong start in life.
SCAN is a registered 501(C)4 organization.

Children’s Campaign Fund (CCF) is dedicated to electing state leaders who will champion the health, well-being, safety, and learning and development of the children and youth of Washington State, especially those who are under-resourced and have been historically marginalized. CCF provides a non-partisan, collective voice for the people of Washington to elect state leaders who will prioritize children and their families, represent the communities they serve, and expect to be held accountable.
CCF is a registered 527-nonprofit/political action committee.
