I commit to protecting and strengthening Washington’s child care and early learning system so children, families, providers, and communities can thrive. Families across the state continue to struggle with high child care costs and limited access to care, while providers face growing financial pressures and ongoing uncertainty caused by funding instability and recent policy rollbacks. Washington must protect critical child care investments, support providers and workers, and continue expanding access to affordable, high quality care that helps families stay employed, supports a strong economy, and ensures child care providers and educators can remain in the field.
