My name is Sandra Sanchez, and I am a bilingual early childhood educator, child care provider, and community leader with over 20 years of experience working with children and families in Washington State. I currently serve as the Executive Director of Proveedoras Unidas de Eastern Washington (PUEW), where I support and advocate for hundreds of child care providers across Eastern and Central Washington.
I am also the owner of The Four Little Bears LLC, where I provide high-quality, culturally responsive care to children and families in my community. My work is deeply rooted in supporting educators, especially those serving low-income and immigrant families, by providing resources, training, and leadership opportunities.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am certified in Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychology. I also facilitate trainings for early childhood educators, including my program “Pequeños Gigantes: Inteligencia Emocional en la Primera Infancia,” which focuses on strengthening relationships, emotional development, and educator well-being.
Through my work, I am passionate about building strong communities, elevating the voices of child care providers, and ensuring that every child and family has access to quality care. I believe that when we invest in educators, we strengthen not only our programs, but our entire community.
