Rep. Alex Ramel (LD 40-D) has only been in his position since January 2020 -- he filled a vacated seat -- but, during that time, he took action that inspired our endorsement. He supported the passage of the Washington Workforce Education Act, which gives full-tuition scholarships or apprenticeship training to students from families with an annual income of less than $50,000; Rep. Ramel also supported legislation that would help youth experiencing homelessness gain access to IDs (and thus access to education and services).
