Speaker of the House Laurie Jinkins (LD 27-D) is a tremendously strong, knowledgeable voice for health-related issues; in fact, the speaker is the director of organizational initiatives at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. That would be reason enough for the Children's Campaign Fund to endorse her re-election in November.
