Tarra Simmons (LD 23-D) won't back down -- in fact, she's stepping up. Tarra graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2017, notably won a Supreme Court decision to sit for the state bar exam despite a prior criminal conviction, and is running for the state House of Representatives seat in the 23rd district. With lived experience as a foster child and a teen mom, Simmons wants to make sure that the state doesn't cut social services for children and will continue to fight for policies that end the school to prison pipeline. We couldn't agree more with her plans and priorities. Vote Simmons this fall. Learn more at electtarrasimmons.com.
